Here at The Post Horn, we’re proud to be a warm and welcoming traditional pub where locals and visitors can relax over locally brewed ales and hearty homemade food. We’re famous for our delicious homemade pies and comforting pub classics, while our newly refurbished private dining room gives us a fantastic space to host special occasions, events and celebrations.

We are looking for a Head Chef who has a passion for cooking, thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering exceptional food and is compassionate when leading and motivating a team. If you have a flair for creating mouth-watering dishes and are ready to take the next step in your culinary career, then we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading the kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality food that keeps guests coming back for more.
• Taking ownership of all aspects of kitchen operations, from food quality and safety to stock and labour control.
• Inspiring, mentoring and developing your team, creating a culture of learning and progression.
• Driving menu execution, innovation and consistency across every service.
• Managing kitchen performance, budgets and food margins while maintaining exceptional standards.
• Working closely with the General Manager to deliver a successful and profitable business.
• Creating a positive, collaborative environment where great food and teamwork go hand in hand.
