Full job description

We are looking for an exceptional Head Chef to lead the kitchen from the very beginning and help create something truly special.

This is not a normal Head Chef role. This is an opportunity to be part of the creation of a brand-new upscale restaurant, building the kitchen, the standards, the menus and the culture from scratch.

The right chef will have strong experience in a premium restaurant environment, with the confidence to lead a serious kitchen operation and the creativity to help shape a unique Japanese-Brazilian fusion concept.

You must be passionate about quality, presentation, flavour, discipline and consistency. We are looking for someone with ambition, leadership and the desire to be part of a restaurant that aims to become one of the most exciting openings in Newcastle.

  • Experience with Japanese, Brazilian, steakhouse, robata, sushi or premium fusion cuisine would be a strong advantage.
