We are on the lookout for a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our wonderful team in Knaresborough and begin your journey to becoming a Qualified Dental Nurse via the apprenticeship route!

We provide a wide range of services in our dental centres, giving our patients a variety of options and the opportunity for you to work with a range of treatments such as general dentistry, dental implants, orthodontics, composite bonding, veneers, oral surgery, facial aesthetics, sedation and more!

The Role:

As a Dental Nurse your daily tasks will include;

  • Providing excellent care for all patients ensuring they have a great experience when visiting the dental centre.
  • Providing chair side assistance to the clinicians during all dental procedures.
  • Decontamination of instruments.
  • Updating patient records and recording notes.
  • Preparing instruments and materials for various treatment.
  • Maintaining equipment.
  • Decontamination of surgeries to a high level, maintaining strict cross infection controls.

You will be supported day to day by the Lead Dental Nurse who will provide you with advice and guidance to develop the skills and knowledge you require for a successful dental nursing career.

The ideal candidate:

Experience is not necessary; however, we are looking for an ambitious, hard-working and committed individual who is organised, reliable and computer literate. You will have a positive approach to work as well as a calm, confident and a reassuring manner with the ability to communicate and relate well with people.

We will support you to enrol on a suitable Dental Nurse training programme if you are not already enrolled.

Working Hours:

  • Monday: 08:30 – 19:00
  • Tuesday: 08:30 – 17:30
  • Wednesday: 08:30 – 17:30
  • Thursday: 08:30 – 17:30
  • Friday: 08:30 – 17:30
