Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Female Health Care Assistant with a valid driving licence to support individuals with personal care needs. This role involves providing compassionate assistance within a care home or home care setting, ensuring the well-being and comfort of clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering personalised care in accordance with care plans, maintaining high standards of communication and professionalism. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while working within a supportive environment.

- Social and companionship calls available within school times, includes taking out within the community and cleaning calls

Responsibilities

  • Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
  • Driving clients to appointments, social activities, or errands using a company vehicle
  • Implementing and adhering to individualised care plans to meet specific needs
  • Monitoring and recording client conditions and reporting any concerns to senior staff
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
  • Communicating effectively with clients, their families, and team members to ensure holistic support
  • Supporting clients in daily activities to promote independence and dignity

Experience

  • Previous experience working within a home care setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for those new to the sector
  • Valid driving licence and experience driving various vehicles are required
  • Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
  • Good command of English, both spoken and written, to facilitate clear communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to demonstrate empathy and professionalism in all interactions
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, families, and colleagues.
