About Us
P and S Care Limited provides high-quality, person-centred care to clients within their own homes and in the community. Our services focus on promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing for people with a range of needs including learning disabilities, mobility challenges, and mental health conditions.

Role Overview
We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Carer who is also a driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal and emotional support to adults in the community, including accompanying or driving clients to and from appointments and community activities. This position requires someone who is patient, empathetic, and committed to maintaining client independence and safety.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality personal care and support according to each individual’s needs and care plan.
  • Support clients with daily living tasks including meal preparation, medication prompts, and light home duties.
  • Drive clients safely to and from appointments, social activities, or errands using your own vehicle (subject to business insurance and mileage reimbursement).
  • Promote clients’ independence, dignity, and confidence in engaging with their local community.
  • Maintain accurate care records and promptly report any changes or concerns to the care coordinator.
  • Follow all safeguarding guidelines, confidentiality standards, and health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Previous experience in domiciliary or community care preferred but not essential (full training provided).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have the right to work in the UK — please note, we do not offer visa sponsorship.
  • Friendly, patient, and professional approach to care delivery.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings or weekends if required.
