Key Responsibilities

Resident Care & Wellbeing

  • Provide compassionate, high-quality and person-centred care tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, hydration and daily living activities.
  • Promote dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing at all times.
  • Observe and report changes in residents' wellbeing appropriately.

Meaningful Engagement & Daily Living Support

  • Support residents to participate in meaningful activities and positive daily experiences.
  • Encourage confidence, independence and social engagement.
  • Assist residents to maintain routines, preferences and individual interests.
  • Help create a welcoming, safe and inclusive Home environment.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Work collaboratively with nursing, care, activities, catering, housekeeping and wider teams.
  • Participate positively in handovers and team communication.
  • Communicate professionally and compassionately with residents, families and visitors.
  • Escalate concerns, incidents or safeguarding matters appropriately.

Safety & Professional Standards

  • Deliver care in accordance with care plans and organisational policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Follow safeguarding, infection prevention, moving and handling and health and safety procedures.
  • Contribute to a culture of professionalism, accountability and continuous improvement.
