Theatre Practitioner – RGN / ODP

Location: KIMS Hospital, Maidstone

Contract: Part Time, Permanent 22 Hours Per Week

Working Pattern: 07:30 – 18:00 between Monday and Saturday. Saturdays are 1 per month on average.

Salary: £30,400 – £37,300 per annum depending on experience

We are expanding due to internal promotions, and we're looking for dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioners (ODP) to join us in delivering the highest standards of perioperative care.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expert scrub support for general and orthopaedic cases.
  • Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care
  • Collaborating effectively with departments such as Imaging, Wards, and Sterile Services
  • Ensuring patient dignity, comfort, and confidentiality at all times
  • Upholding ethical and legal standards in your own practice and that of your colleagues

Who we’re looking for:

As a Theatre Practitioner at KIMS Hospital you will be a strong, patient focused team player with a collaborative approach to achieving goals.

Essential

  • Registered Practitioner (RGN or ODP) with current NMC/HCPC registration
  • Post registration Scrub experience (NHS or Private)
  • Passion for high-quality, patient-centred care
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and enthusiasm for learning

Desirable

  • Experience working as an Orthopaedic Scrub practitioner
