Full job description

Job Title: Support Care Worker

Location: Northern Ireland

Type: Contracted

As a Support Care Worker, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional care and support to individuals in their own home.

You will be part of a shift based team, supervising and leading a team of care workers, ensuring that care plans are followed and that the well-being of service users is consistently prioritised. You will act as a mentor, providing guidance and support to junior staff, ensuring that all care standards are met and continuously improved.

Requirements:

  • NISCC Registered
  • Minimum qualification of Level 2 or 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Adults) Wales and Northern Ireland
  • CPI Safety Interventions Trained (Foundation, Advanced & Emergency)
  • Competence in Medication Administration
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role, providing support to adults with learning and physical disabilities.
  • Full driver’s license (Desirable)
