Full job description
Vernova Healthcare CIC is a progressive Social Enterprise healthcare provider owned by GPs in East Cheshire, delivering innovative, high-quality NHS services for local patients across East Cheshire. We are an established and respected organisation with a strong reputation for trusted partnership working and delivering services that respond to local healthcare needs. As a Community Interest Company operating on a strictly not-for-profit basis, any surplus we generate is reinvested into improving healthcare services for the people of East Cheshire. We combine the values of the NHS with the local focus and responsiveness of an independent community provider, creating an environment where collaboration is encouraged, leadership is visible, and individuals can make a genuine impact.
Job summary
This newly created role of Quality, Governance & Assurance Manager is an exciting opportunity to join Vernova Healthcare CIC at an important stage in our development. As a member of the senior management team, you will play a key role in supporting the continued delivery of safe, high-quality services across the organisation.
We offer a supportive and professional working environment, including flexibility for some hybrid working, alongside a competitive salary, 30 days' annual leave plus bank holidays (pro rata), and access to the NHS Pension Scheme.
If you would like an informal discussion about the role or would like to arrange a visit, we'd be delighted to hear from you.
Main duties of the job
Working closely with the Chief Executive, clinical leads and operational managers, you will lead and coordinate Vernova's approach to quality, governance and assurance. This is a varied, hands-on role, with responsibility for patient safety, clinical governance, risk management and regulatory compliance, while ensuring robust systems are in place for complaints, incidents, policies and organisational assurance. You will also play a key role in driving continuous improvement across our services.
You will work collaboratively across the organisation to embed quality, safety and compliance in everyday practice, supporting the delivery of safe, effective and patient-centred care.
Salary will be based on a pro rata basis.
