Live-In Carer (Female) – Nationwide Opportunities
Full-Time | From £812.00 per week

The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Supporting with mobility and safe moving and handling where required
  • Preparing meals and assisting with nutrition and hydration
  • Administering or prompting medication in line with care plans and policies
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Assisting with daily household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping
  • Supporting clients to attend appointments and engage in social activities where appropriate
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in the client’s health or wellbeing
  • Maintaining accurate care records and communicating effectively with families and healthcare professionals
  • Promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect at all times

You will be living with the client and becoming a trusted and valued part of their daily life.

Essential Requirements:

  • Must have the full rights to work in the UK - no sponsorship or limited to 20 hours
  • Minimum 3 years’ live in care experience (required)
  • DBS on the Update Service (required, or willing to obtain one)
  • Calm, empathetic, patient, and warm nature
  • Genuine passion for supporting others
  • Strong communication and written record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Full UK Driving Licence and access to own car
  • Care certificate
  • Experience with care plans, behavior management, and case management processes
