Overview

Join our dedicated Domiciliary healthcare team as a Health Care Assistant (NON SPONSORSHIP) and make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you support! This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in Domiciliary settings or providing home care services, delivering compassionate assistance to individuals in need. You will play a vital part in promoting well-being, independence, and quality of life for your clients through attentive, personalized care. Duties

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility to ensure comfort and dignity
  • Support the development and implementation of personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients’ mental well-being
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems and ensure compliance with care standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care delivery
  • Drive between different locations for home care visits when required, ensuring timely support
  • Monitor health conditions and report any changes or concerns promptly to supervising staff

Experience

  • Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is highly desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidates
  • Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to listen actively and convey information clearly
  • Basic IT literacy for documenting care activities and updating electronic records accurately
  • Valid driving license and experience driving safely are preferred for roles involving home visits
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in fast-paced environments
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals and improve their quality of life
