Care Assistant: Full-Time & Part-Time Split Shift Roles Available

What You'll Do as a Care Assistant:

  • Provide personal care, assistance with meals, and companionship
  • Support with medication, mobility, and daily living tasks
  • Build trusting relationships with our customers, promoting independence and improving their quality of life
  • Deliver high-quality care in accordance with individual care plans and company standards

What We’re Looking For:

We are recruiting both Full-Time and Part-Time Care Assistants to work flexible shifts across the week.

Typical shift patterns include:

  • Full-time Day shift: 4 and 3 rotation – 07:00 - 22:00
  • Part-time Morning Shift: 07:00 – 15:00
  • Part-time Evening Shift: 15:00 – 22:00

Applicants should be available to work either both shifts as part of a split-shift pattern or have availability across mornings and/or evenings, depending on the role applied for.

When working as a Care Assistant for Bluebird Care, you will need to demonstrate the values that underpin our service. We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Compassionate and reliable, with a genuine passion for helping others
  • Positive, professional, and an excellent communicator
  • Able to work independently while also being part of a supportive team
  • Committed to delivering outstanding customer care

A minimum of 2 years' care experience is desirable; however, we welcome applications from individuals with less experience who are passionate about starting a career in care. Our comprehensive induction and training programme will provide you with the skills and confidence needed to succeed.

This is a mobile role, therefore it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to your own reliable vehicle.
