Maintenance Estate Engineer/Spire Nottingham/Tollerton/Full Time/Permanent/Full Time 37.5 hours per week + On Call

Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an Maintenence Estate Engineer to join the team on a Full-Time basis. The successful applicant will work as part of the engineering team providing a comprehensive and cost-effective engineering service within the hospital. Maintaining a safe environment for all staff and customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

To work as part of the engineering team providing a comprehensive engineering and maintenance service within the hospital, which ensures a safe environment for all Patients, Visitors, Staff and Contractors.

The role will require repair, maintenance or installation of all plant, equipment, systems and building structure/fabric.

This will consist of Planned Preventative Maintenance, testing and calibration, fault finding, defect correction and supporting the emergency on call on a rota basis.

To undertake maintenance/testing/troubleshooting of plant/equipment, ensuring compliance with current HTM recommendations / PPM Schedules and manufactures instruction, including but not limited to;

  • Building and Minor Electrical
  • Water Safety, PPM's
  • Ventilation System
  • Decontamination
  • Medical Gas Management
  • General Handyperson Duties

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00, 1 Sunday in every 4 weeks, you will be on an On Call Rota

Must live within 45 mins from the Hospital

  • Hold relevant certificates or be willing to undertake specialist training in specific areas
  • Experience in building services management with a track record of success
  • Knowledge of building services
  • Prioritise demands against resources
  • Support hospital compliance with changing legislation
