Domestic & Commercial Plumber

Location: Nottinghamshire
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Miller Freeman is a Nottingham-based plumbing and heating company delivering high-quality services across the domestic and commercial sectors. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a skilled, reliable and motivated Domestic & Commercial Plumber to join our team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced plumber who takes pride in their work, enjoys problem-solving, and can confidently undertake a wide range of plumbing installations, maintenance, and reactive works.

The Role

The successful candidate will be involved in a variety of work, including:

  • Domestic and commercial plumbing installations
  • Planned maintenance works
  • Reactive plumbing repairs and fault finding
  • Bathroom, sanitaryware and pipework installations
  • Hot and cold water services
  • General plumbing maintenance and refurbishment projects
  • Working independently and as part of a larger project team

No two days are the same, and the role offers a varied workload across multiple sectors.

What We're Looking For

You will:

  • Have a strong plumbing background with experience in domestic and/or commercial environments
  • Be confident carrying out both basic and advanced plumbing tasks
  • Be organised, professional and take pride in your workmanship
  • Have excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Be customer-focused with a positive attitude
  • Work well independently and within a team environment
  • Be flexible, reliable and willing to support colleagues when required
  • Have good communication skills with customers, site teams and management

Essential Requirements

  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating (or equivalent)
  • Unvented Hot Water qualification
  • Minimum 3 years' plumbing experience following qualification
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good knowledge of plumbing systems, hot and cold water services, and drainage
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently on occupied domestic and commercial sites

Desirable Requirements

  • Commercial plumbing experience
  • Water Regulations / WRAS knowledge
  • Experience working within schools, healthcare, commercial or public sector buildings
  • Basic heating system knowledge
  • CSCS card
