Job purpose:
Working as a Contract Manager at Morelife UK is more than just a leadership role — it’s a chance to shape services that make a real difference to people’s lives. You’ll be at the heart of ensuring our health and wellbeing programmes deliver measurable impact, meet contractual standards, and continue to grow sustainably.
At Morelife, we believe in empowering people to be their best — including our staff. You’ll be part of a passionate, expert, and supportive team that shares one goal: helping individuals and communities live healthier, happier lives.
About the role:
As a Contract Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of contracts, leading on performance, quality, and growth. You’ll work closely with commissioners, partners, and delivery teams to ensure our services meet targets and continuously improve.
You’ll combine strong data insight with relationship-building skills — supporting teams to deliver excellent outcomes while identifying opportunities for innovation and expansion.
This is a key strategic role for someone who thrives on collaboration, accountability, and making a meaningful impact
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day performance management of contracts within your portfolio, ensuring delivery against agreed KPIs and outcomes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with commissioners, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor performance data, identify trends, and take proactive action to drive improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all quality, safeguarding, and governance frameworks.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to resource and coordinate service delivery effectively.
- Contribute to service development, contract renewals, and new business opportunities.
- Represent Morelife at contract review meetings and external events.
- Produce regular reports and insights that evidence success and support future growth.
About You:
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Contract Manager who is passionate about improving health and wellbeing outcomes. You’ll be confident in managing multiple priorities, fostering strong relationships, and driving excellence through collaboration and innovation.
Your ability to balance strategic thinking with operational oversight will make you a key player in our mission to help people live healthier lives.
You’ll also bring a deep understanding and appreciation of health services — you know it, and you love it. Local knowledge is key to your success in this role. You’ll use your insight into the communities, challenges, and opportunities to build strong connections with local partners and services, ensuring we deliver the very best for service users.
Essential skills and experience include:
- At least three years relevant operational management experience in public health or community healthcare, including the effective leadership of field-based delivery teams
- Experience of the provision of public health or healthcare services to National (DH, DfE, PHE, NHS England), Local (Local Authorities, CCGs), Charities and other third sector agencies
- Significant experience in at least three of the following and a knowledge of the remainder: provision of public services, health promotion, behaviour modification programmes, quality control, stakeholder engagement activities, research and evaluation, and project management
- Experience in planning, implementation, monitoring and review, maintenance of records for programme delivery and continued programme development
- Experience of working in partnership with a range of organisations particularly those in the public sector
- Educated to degree level with a relevant post graduate qualification or equivalent experience
