Salary: (upto) £42,000 + Bonus + Company Van + Private Healthcare

Are you someone who thrives on building trusted relationships and making a genuine difference in people's lives? Do you enjoy combining problem-solving, customer engagement and clinical understanding to deliver meaningful outcomes?

If this sounds like you, a leading manufacturer of specialist healthcare and assistive technology products is looking for a Product Specialist to join its growing team.

About the Company

Our client is a highly respected innovator in the healthcare and mobility sector, developing specialist products that improve comfort, independence and quality of life for individuals with complex needs. With a strong reputation among healthcare professionals and a people-first culture, they provide extensive training and support, giving talented individuals the opportunity to build a rewarding long-term career.

What’s the Role About?

As a Product Specialist, you'll become a trusted partner to occupational therapists, healthcare professionals, caregivers and service users. This is a unique role that blends relationship building, product expertise and person-centred assessments.

You will:

  • Conduct seating and postural assessments for individuals with complex needs.
  • Demonstrate innovative healthcare products to clinicians and end users.
  • Build long-term professional relationships with occupational therapists and healthcare teams.
  • Recommend tailored solutions that improve comfort, safety and independence.
  • Represent a respected healthcare brand in the community while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver person-centred seating and postural assessments across homes, hospitals, care settings and community environments.
  • Identify needs relating to posture, pressure care, safety and functional independence.
  • Demonstrate and prescribe appropriate seating solutions and accessories.
  • Produce detailed assessment reports, recommendations and quotations.
  • Collaborate closely with occupational therapists, caregivers and healthcare professionals.
  • Support training events, product education sessions and professional workshops.
  • Manage a busy field-based diary, including assessments, demonstrations, reviews and follow-up visits.
  • Maintain demonstration equipment, company vehicle and product knowledge to high standards.
  • Provide market feedback and contribute to the continued growth of the business.

Requirements

About You

We're interested in attitude and potential as much as direct industry experience.

You may already have experience in healthcare, mobility, rehabilitation, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, fitness, wellbeing, customer-facing healthcare services, or another role where communication, empathy and relationship-building are critical.

You'll ideally possess:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine desire to help people and improve lives.
  • Confidence working independently in a field-based role.
  • Excellent planning, organisation and time-management skills.
  • The ability to build long-term professional relationships.
  • A positive, resilient and self-motivated approach.
  • Good IT skills and attention to detail.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Benefits

What’s in it for You?

  • Comprehensive training programme and ongoing professional development.
  • Company van, laptop and mobile phone provided.
  • Private medical healthcare cover.
  • 25 days annual leave plus public holidays.
  • Competitive salary with strong bonus potential.
  • Opportunity to join an established national team with strong internal support and progression opportunities.
