About Us

Versorium Healthcare is an independent, clinician-led healthcare centre based in Hurstpierpoint, West Sussex. Working alongside Spine & Brain and SB Diagnostics, we provide specialist consultant-led healthcare, diagnostic services and wellness-related services to patients across Sussex and the surrounding areas.

As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and proactive Registered Nurse to join our friendly team.

This is an opportunity to become involved in a developing private healthcare organisation, with a varied role combining direct patient care, clinical governance, clinic administration and operational support.

The Role

We are looking for a capable and adaptable nurse who enjoys working independently, takes pride in delivering excellent patient care and is happy to contribute to the wider running of the clinic.

The position combines hands-on clinical responsibilities with administrative, organisational and operational duties.

The successful candidate will work closely with our consultants, practice management and administrative teams, helping maintain high clinical standards while supporting the continued growth of Versorium Healthcare.

Training will be provided in DEXA scanning, clinic systems and other aspects of the role as required.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Duties

• Perform venepuncture and assist with blood sample handling and processing.
• Assist consultants with clinical examinations, minor procedures and outpatient treatments.
• Undertake ECG recordings and other diagnostic procedures following appropriate training.
• Learn to perform DEXA bone density and body composition scans independently following training and competency assessment.
• Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed and supported.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records.
• Assist with clinical stock management, equipment preparation and maintaining a safe clinical environment.

Clinical Governance & Compliance

• Support the maintenance of CQC standards, clinical protocols and governance documentation.
• Assist with clinical audits, infection prevention and control, and quality assurance activities.
• Help maintain clinical policies, checklists, equipment logs and compliance records.
• Identify opportunities to improve clinical processes and patient experience.
• Take ownership of agreed clinical and operational responsibilities, with support from the management team.

Clinic Administration & Operations

• Assist with patient bookings, enquiries, correspondence and clinic coordination.
• Support preparation of clinical letters, documentation and patient communications.
• Assist with invoicing, payment processing and basic bookkeeping tasks.
• Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records.
• Assist with clinical stock management, equipment preparation and maintaining a safe clinical environment.
• Work closely with the PA and management teams to ensure smooth daily operations.

Business Development & Brand Support

• Support the development of new clinical services and diagnostic pathways.
• Assist with social media, marketing activities and promoting awareness of Versorium's services.
• Help develop positive professional relationships with local GPs, consultants and other healthcare providers.
• Represent Versorium professionally ano positively when interacting with patients, clinicians and external organisations.

Experience in all these areas is not expected.

Training and support will be provided. We are looking for someone with strong core nursing skills, good organisational ability, sound judgement and a willingness to develop within the role.

• Help maintain clinical stock levels, ordering systems and supplier records.
• Contribute to the development of efficient administrative and clinical workflows.
• About You

Essential

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
• Competent and confident in venepuncture.
• Professional, compassionate and patient-tocused.
• Well organised, reliable and self-motivated.
• Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Confident using computers and willing to learn new clinical and administrative systems.
• Willingness to undertake a mixture of clinical and non-clinical responsibilities.
• Able to commute reliably to Hurstpierpoint.

Desirable

• Previous experience in private healthcare, outpatient clinics or diagnostic services.
• Experience assisting with minor clinical procedures.
• Familiarity with CQC requirements and clinical governance.
• Experience with DEXA scanning or other diagnostic investigations.
• Experience with invoicing, stock control or clinic administration.
• Interest in healthcare business development, marketing or social media.
