Female Domiciliary Care Worker/Support Workers - Cardiff - Full or Part Time - Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Female Domiciliary Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals who live in their own homes in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for helping others, particularly vulnerable adults. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those under your care, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and dressing.
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements.
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering positive relationships.
  • Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving clients to appointments or social activities.
  • Administer first aid as needed and monitor clients’ health conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and organised living space for clients, ensuring their home is comfortable and welcoming.
  • Document care provided and report any changes in clients’ conditions to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in home care, assisted living or senior care is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of first aid practices is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
  • A valid driving licence and a vehicle is required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A caring disposition with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Flexibility in working hours to accommodate client needs.

IOS Care provide full training, a qualification in Health and Social Care and a competitive rate of pay.
