Full job description

At Pharmacierge, we are redefining the private pharmacy experience in the UK. Based on Wimpole Street, in the heart of the London Harley Street Medical Area, we work closely with leading private clinicians to deliver a seamless, safe, and highly personalised medication service.

Our approach is rooted in clinical excellence, compassion, and innovation. We combine cutting-edge technology with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to ensure that every patient and prescriber receives the same level of care that we would want for our own families.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Head of Dispensary Operations to take ownership of the performance, structure, and delivery of the Pharmacierge dispensary.

About the role

This is a senior operational leadership role at the core of our organisation, with accountability for ensuring that pharmacy workflows run smoothly, staffing and capacity are aligned to demand, and operational issues are resolved decisively before they escalate.

You will support the development and growth of our established Team Leads and managers, balancing hands‑on operational oversight with effective delegation and escalation where required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the day-to-day performance and delivery of the Pharmacierge Dispensary
  • Lead and develop Team Leads to build a strong, accountable leadership layer
  • Ensure workflows run safely, efficiently, and at the required pace
  • Manage capacity, staffing, and operational pressure points
  • Drive performance through clear KPIs, standards, and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Clinical, Compliance, and Supply Chain to deliver safe, seamless patient care

Why join us

  • Be directly responsible for how patient care is delivered day-to-day
  • Lead, coach, and grow a strong operational leadership team
  • Build systems and ways of working that scale with the business
  • Take real ownership in a pharmacy that values quality, pace, and precision

Recruitment Process

If your application is shortlisted, you will be provided with a full role profile, which will form the basis of the interview process. You will then be invited to self‑schedule a short telephone interview with our Recruitment Coordinator to enable you to ask questions ahead of the formal interviews.

Personal Qualities
  • Calm, decisive, and reliable under daily operational pressure
  • Highly organised and detail‑focused
  • Pragmatic, solutions‑oriented, and delivery‑driven
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership
  • Clear, confident communicator across operational and clinical teams
