Experienced Boiler Installer – £41,000 + Van & Fuel Card

Location: Central Belt, ScotlandSalary: £41,000 per yearHours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pmJob Type: Full-time, Permanent

Thistle Boilers is looking for an Experienced Boiler Installer to join our team covering the Central Belt of Scotland.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced heating engineer who takes pride in their work and wants a stable, full-time role with a busy local boiler company.

The majority of the work will involve straightforward combi boiler replacements, with occasional servicing days.

You’ll be trusted to manage your own jobs, deliver a high standard of workmanship and provide a professional service in our customers’ homes.

The Role

  • Carry out domestic boiler replacements, mainly straight combi swaps
  • Install and commission boilers in accordance with manufacturer instructions and Gas Safe regulations
  • Occasional boiler servicing days
  • Complete all installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard
  • Test and commission heating systems following installation
  • Diagnose and resolve any minor issues encountered during installations
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment in customers’ homes
  • Complete relevant installation paperwork and records
  • Look after the company van and equipment provided
  • Deliver a professional and friendly service to customers

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ boiler installation experience
  • Strong experience carrying out combi boiler installations
  • Experience carrying out boiler servicing
  • Current Gas Safe qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of domestic heating systems
  • Confident working independently
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Own tools required
  • Excellent standard of workmanship
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Good customer service and communication skills
  • Clean, tidy and professional approach to work
