Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems, From small plumbing jobs, bathroom installation/renovations to full heating systems etc. Your expertise will ensure that systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, contributing to the comfort and safety of our clients. Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including bathrooms, boilers, heating systems, small plumbing jobs (taps, showers, radiator installs etc)
  • Boiler servicing knowledge preferred but not essential
  • Use Plumbing, Tiling and carpentry skills to complete both simple and complex Bathroom installations and repairs (Tiling knowledge not essential but a willingness to learn new skills is a must)
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Perform heavy lifting of equipment and materials safely to facilitate installation or repair tasks
  • Apply mechanical plumbing knowledge to troubleshoot system faults efficiently and implement effective solutions
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each project

Qualifications

  • Level 2/3 NVQ & Proven experience as a Plumbing and Heating Engineer or similar role in commercial or residential environments.
  • Gas safe and Oftec preferred but not essential
  • Strong plumbing/heating knowledge combined with bathroom installation, basic tiling , basic carpentry, and assembly tasks
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and soldering/press equipment for diverse repair activities
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols
  • Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and system diagnostics
  • Valid, clean driver’s license needed
