Job title: Plumber / Gas Engineer

Salary: £40,449 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Work pattern: 39 hours per week Monday-Friday

Location: Bilston

Our Repairs team, based at our Bilston workshop,delivers repairs, maintenance and investment services for customers in Wheatley Homes East properties, as well as for people living in Wheatley’s other subsidiaries in the east of Scotland.

About the role

We now have a great opportunity to join our team as aPlumber/Gas Engineer.

You will be responsible for providing a professional plumbing and gas service which meets legislative and building regulation compliance. This role will also require assisting with multi-trade tasks as and when required.

Who are we looking for?

We want candidates who take pride in their work and who always strive to go above and beyond for our customers. We are looking for someone who will help us achieve our targets for response times, right first time and customer satisfaction.

You will be qualified to City & Guilds certificate level or equivalent as well as being gas safe approved and hold CCN1, HTR1, CKR1 and CEN1, DOM NG Combustion Performance Analysis. Experienced and competent in use of combustion analysers and interpreting data produced.

A clean driving licence and basic disclosure check is required. Experience of working in social housing and occupied properties is desirable.

Depending on the work pattern, you will be required to take part in our out of hours on-call service.
