The local centre here in Leighton Buzzard are continuously looking to recruit a variety of experienced engineers to undertake various drainage and plumbing activities in both commercial and domestic environments across the local area of Beds, Herts & Bucks.

Our activites include delivering all services under the business to business Franchise Brands plc water services division which are:-

• Metro Rod - A comprehensive nationwide drainage solution via a network of experts
• Metro Plumb - The local plumbers the nation trusts
• Willow Pumps - Expert services for pump, drainage, waste and clean water needs
• Filta Group - Environmental kitchen solutions and all grease management

Suitable candidates will be able to display a great working attitude together with skills pertaining to the clearance, cleaning and repair of both internal small bore and external drainage systems.

An understanding of some basic plumbing skills would be a distinct advantage (although not critical) repairing items such as water leaks, cisterns, install and unblock toilets and to repair & replace waste pipes. No gas, heating, boiler, copper or hot work skills are required.

Candidates will be considered suitable if they reside within Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire or Buckinghamshire (postcodes of LU, AL, HP, MK, SG or WD) or live within very close proximity in order to meet the quality of our service and demands of this role.

This is a fully employed full-time position attracting a £28,600 (£550 p/w) minimum salary coupled with an open-ended commission pay structure with absolutely no upper earnings limit.

Annual earnings of between £33,000 - £43,000+ are fully achievable dependant upon individual engineer experience, skillset and work ethic.

You will:

• Carry out a range of services associated with our emergency services offering, cleaning, clearance, repair, installation and maintenance of our customer’s assets new and old.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service and technical expertise.
• Operate in accordance with H&S and Quality procedures.
• Maintain a high standard of company service, vehicles and equipment.
• Accurately record completed work details via internal and client systems.
• Communicate effectively to ensure an excellent service is provided at all times.
• Have a positive and helpful can-do attitude.
• Cover normal working hours and “on call” out-of-hours on a rota basis and have a flexible attitude to covering emergency situations when called upon outside of the these periods.
• Qualifications, HPWJ, Confined Spaces, Street-works including a CSCS card (any / all would be advantageous but are not essential as full training is on offer)
• Hold a full driving licence.
