Job Overview

C Parkinson (Bury) Ltd is a family-run plumbing and heating contractor, established in 1971, working directly for major national housebuilders on new build developments. We are looking for an experienced Plumbing & Heating Engineer to join our Customer Care team, covering new build sites across Liverpool, Leyland and Preston.

This role suits a skilled engineer with a strong plumbing and heating background who is also good with people and enjoys problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair plumbing and heating issues in newly built homes

- Carry out warranty, snagging and aftercare repairs on recently completed properties

- Liaise with homeowners, site managers and housebuilder customer care teams to resolve issues quickly

- Ensure all work meets Gas Safe and industry regulations

- Keep clear records and job documentation using our job management app

- Provide excellent customer service and leave homeowners satisfied

Essential Requirements

- Gas Safe registered

- Valid CSCS card

- Full UK driving licence

- Minimum 5 years' experience in plumbing and heating

- Proven experience in plumbing and heating (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent)

- Own hand tools

Desirable

- G3 Unvented Hot Water certificate

- Experience on new build developments

- Knowledge of heating controls and wiring (training can be provided)

- Confident using job management apps on a phone or tablet
