Mirai Energy Recruitment is recruiting experienced Plumbers / Heating Installers to work on a long-term social housing contract across the RG and SN postcode areas.

This role is suited to candidates with a strong domestic plumbing and heating background, including experience with heating installations, cylinders, pipework and 1st and 2nd fix work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out domestic plumbing and heating installations.
  • Complete 1st and 2nd fix plumbing and heating works.
  • Install heating pipework and radiators.
  • Install hot water cylinders and associated components.
  • Complete pipework installation, clipping and routing.
  • Carry out domestic maintenance and remedial works.
  • Diagnose and resolve plumbing and heating issues.
  • Work across occupied social housing properties.
  • Complete job sheets and relevant documentation.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and customer service.

What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating – essential.
  • Strong domestic plumbing and heating experience.
  • Experience with heating installations and pipework.
  • Experience installing hot water cylinders.
  • 1st and 2nd fix plumbing and heating experience.
  • Radiator installation experience.
  • Domestic maintenance experience.
  • New-build installation experience advantageous.
  • Water Regulations qualification preferred.
  • Unvented Hot Water qualification preferred.
  • Gas qualifications or experience advantageous.
  • Full UK driving licence.
