Gas Engineer – Rix Heating Services (Part of The Rix Group)

Location: East Riding of Yorkshire
Salary: £34,000 - £38,000 (depending on experience) + Overtime

As part of our heating services team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering top-quality installations, repairs, and services to our customers throughout East Riding of Yorkshire.

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a well-rounded gas engineer who can confidently handle a variety of tasks, including boiler installations, servicing, and repairs. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in the domestic gas industry, and a passion for providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and service domestic gas boilers to a high standard
• Perform general plumbing repairs
• Convert gravity-fed systems to combi boilers
• Understand central heating wiring (S & Y plans)
• Work independently or as part of a team

Desirable (but not essential):

• Experience with oil-fired appliances
• G3 Unvented qualification
• Knowledge of air source heat pump installation
• Ability to diagnose boiler faults
