Full job description

Heat Pump Engineer / Heating Engineer

Join a growing renewable energy business with a strong pipeline of installations and genuine opportunities to progress.

Company: Eaasy Heat Ltd
Salary: £45,000–£60,000 per annum, depending on experience
Benefits: Company van, fuel, training and career progression
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Field-based, domestic installations

About Eaasy Heat Ltd

Eaasy Heat is a growing residential renewable energy business specialising in the design and installation of air source heat pump systems.

As an MCS-accredited company, we are committed to delivering high-quality installations through professional surveying, system design and commissioning.

With a substantial pipeline of residential installations, we're expanding our installation teams and looking for skilled, motivated heating engineers who take pride in their work and want to grow with the business.

The Role

We're looking for experienced Heat Pump Engineers and strong Domestic Heating Engineers who want to be part of a growing team delivering high-quality installations efficiently and professionally.

You'll work on domestic air source heat pump installations, including:

  • Air source heat pumps and associated pipework.
  • Unvented hot water cylinders.
  • Heating system upgrades and radiator installations.
  • Heating controls and system connections.
  • Testing, commissioning and ensuring high standards of workmanship.

Depending on your experience, you'll either lead installations and coordinate other engineers or work as a key member of the installation team.

Heat pump experience is strongly preferred, but not essential for an exceptional heating engineer with the right skills and attitude.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong domestic plumbing and heating experience.
  • Excellent pipework and installation skills.
  • High standards of workmanship and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work efficiently without compromising quality.
  • Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
  • The ability to plan ahead, sequence work and keep installations moving.
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team.
  • Leadership skills for those taking responsibility for installations.
  • A professional approach when working in customers' homes.
  • A full UK driving licence and your own tools.

Gas Safe registration and experience with unvented cylinders are advantageous, depending on the scope of work.

Experienced heat pump installers are encouraged to apply. We also welcome excellent gas and heating engineers looking to develop their skills in renewable heating, with training and technical support available where required.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?

We want engineers who take ownership of their work, not simply turn up and complete individual tasks.

Our installations are surveyed and designed before work begins. We expect our engineers to review the plans, prepare properly, identify potential issues and understand how the installation will be delivered efficiently.

For lead engineers, this means coordinating the team, allocating work effectively and keeping the installation on schedule while maintaining excellent workmanship.

If you enjoy being busy, solving problems, working to a clear plan and seeing the results of a well-executed installation, you'll fit in well.

What We Offer

  • £45,000–£60,000 annual salary, depending on experience and capability.
  • Company van and fuel for the right candidate.
  • A strong pipeline of residential heat pump installations.
  • Heat pump training and technical support where required.
  • Professionally surveyed and designed projects.
  • Support from our design and operations teams.
  • Opportunities to progress into Lead Engineer and Installation Team Leader positions.
  • The chance to develop your expertise in the growing renewable heating sector.
