Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join our team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing and heating systems across a variety of residential settings. Your expertise will ensure that systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably, providing essential comfort and functionality to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilize your mechanical knowledge, and deliver exceptional service with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Duties

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing, heating and gas systems including pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage in residential environments
  • Service heating systems such as boilers, radiators, thermostats, and pumps to ensure optimal performance
  • Use hand tools, power tools and assembly techniques to complete tasks accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify issues early and perform necessary repairs or replacements
  • Assist with carpentry tasks related to system installation or building modifications as needed
  • Lift heavy equipment or materials safely while adhering to health and safety standards
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for each project

Skills

  • Proficiency with plumbing installation, maintenance, and repair techniques
  • Mechanical knowledge of heating systems including boilers, radiators and different kinds of heating systems
  • Skilled in soldering, assembly work, and the use of hand tools and power tools
  • Strong understanding of basic math for measurements, calculations, and troubleshooting
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following safety protocols
  • Experience with carpentry tasks related to system setup or building modifications
  • Valid driving license needed as you will be expected to make your own way to each job in the vans provided by us
