Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated ( SUBCONTRACTOR) Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of air conditioning systems in both residential and commercial settings. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The ideal candidate will also possess leadership qualities to guide junior technicians and ensure high standards of work are maintained.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair various air conditioning systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues with air conditioning units and perform necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of service performed and equipment status.
  • Collaborate with team members to build efficient solutions for client needs.
  • Provide guidance and training to junior engineers or apprentices as needed.
  • Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate installation and repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all tasks.

Experience

  • Proven experience in air conditioning installation and maintenance is essential.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge
  • Familiarity with reading schematics and technical documentation.
  • Previous leadership experience is advantageous, particularly in a technical environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • A valid driver's licence & CSCS Card/ FGAS CERT
