Job Title: Domestic Gas Breakdown Engineer

Location: Covering Ipswich

Salary: £40- £46k – (£45/46k is for gas engineer who also have oil, oftec) plus 1 in 4 call out

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

One of our clients are looking for a domestic gas service & repair engineer to work within private housing properties

The role involves completing 6–8 jobs per day, providing high-quality service and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction. Engineers will work on behalf of the client across private housing properties and liaise with major insurance companies when required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair domestic gas appliances to the highest standards
  • Deliver excellent customer service in a friendly and professional manner
  • Complete up to 6 jobs per day, allowing sufficient time for thorough service
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients and colleagues
  • Ensure compliance with all gas safety regulations and industry standards
  • Approach every job with professionalism, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic

Requirements:

  • Relevant gas qualifications (CENWAT, CCN1, HTR1, CKR1 or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working within domestic gas service and repair
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer service
  • Reliable and able to work independently within a defined patch

  • Gas qualifications: CENWAT, CCN1, HTR1 , CKR1 - ESSENTIAL
