Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Engineer to work on a range of projects including traditional plumbing systems and renewable energy installations such as air source heat pumps. The ideal candidate will have experience in both residential and commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair mechanical systems, including heating and renewable energy solutions
  • Work on projects involving air source heat pumps and other energy-efficient systems
  • Interpret technical drawings and system schematics
  • Conduct diagnostics and provide effective solutions for plumbing and heating issues
  • Ensure work complies with relevant codes and environmental standards
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and project managers
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out and materials used

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a plumber or plumbing/heating engineer
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent
  • Knowledge of or experience with renewable systems is highly desirable
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and system layouts
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Gas Safe certification is advantageous

Pay: £18.00-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
