Commercial and domestic Oil and Fuel & Heating Systems Engineer

With a strong reputation for quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, we are now looking for highly skilled and experienced Engineer industrial, commercial and domestic fuel tank and fuel system projects.

Job Description:
This hands-on role focused on the successful planning, delivery, commissioning / decommissioning of industrial / commercial and domestic oil and fuel systems. The winning candidate will be responsible for end-to-end technical oversight, execution of both domestic, commercial and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oil storage and supply, Fuel dispenser tank installation to OFTEC and Building Regulations
• Execute end-to-end project delivery, from initial technical site assessment and scoping through to job execution, final commissioning and handover.
• Help to design, plan, and execute installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of industrial/commercial and domestic heating oil systems and associated fuel/water storage tanks.
• High-quality workmanship and adherence to project timelines reporting to site agents and customers. Making sure the highest standards of risk assessments/health and safety are always carried out.
• Technical site assessments and scoping for new projects.
• Ensure all work complies with relevant industry regulations (including OFTEC/ATEX) and commercial safety standards.
• Accurately complete job documentation and reports, liaising with the office team when required.
• Self-management and maintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicles to a high standard.
• Hands on installation of pipework / pumps and auxiliary equipment i.e. gauges

Requirements:

• Proven ability to run jobs as an engineer without support and manage complex tasks autonomously
• Strong engineering background based on installation, fault finding and repair of equipment in fuel systems
• Strong technical and project management skills, including the ability to plan work.
• Full UK driving license (mandatory).
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills, particularly with commercial clients.
• The ability to work anywhere in the UK

Desired advantage if the candidate holds:

• Oil boiler installations 10-105E & FT10-101 certified
• OFTEC Qualifications
• Knowledge of repairing / installation of fuel pumping systems
• Electrical background

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
