Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heating Engineer to join our team. The role will be based within Essex & London. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in heating systems installation, maintenance, and repair. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and practical skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. The Heating Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that heating systems operate safely and effectively, contributing to the comfort and satisfaction of our customers

Responsibilities

  • Install heating systems in residential properties.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of heating equipment to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Assemble components and systems using hand tools and power tools as required.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople such as builders and electricians to complete projects efficiently.
  • Lift heavy materials and equipment safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Complete mandatory paperwork and legal documents for works completed.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Domestic Heating Engineer and Gas Safe Registered.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
  • Basic maths skills for calculations related to installations and repairs.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during installations or repairs.
