Job Overview

Join the team as a Gas Engineer, carrying out installation, maintenance and repair work on gas systems. You’ll use practical mechanical skills and a range of tools to complete work safely and to a high standard.

Duties

  • Install, assemble, inspect and maintain gas equipment and associated plumbing.
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using hand tools and power tools.
  • Complete related welding or carpentry tasks where appropriate to the work.
  • Measure materials and components, applying basic maths to support accurate work.
  • Handle and move equipment, including heavy lifting, and undertake commercial driving when required.
  • Your impact: Careful installation and maintenance helps customers use gas systems safely and reliably.

Requirements

  • Practical mechanical knowledge and confidence using hand tools and power tools.
  • Skills or experience in plumbing; welding, carpentry and assembly experience are useful.
  • Basic maths skills and the ability to carry out heavy lifting safely.
  • Commercial driving experience is useful where the role involves driving for work.

Pay: £850.00 per week
