Full job description
Acorn Environmental is an Estate Maintenance Company based in Mitcham.
We require a full time Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our established team. You will be required to provide grounds maintenance service to our clients which includes general needs and lease holder sites as well as Sheltered Accommodation Schemes. You will work as part of a team.
You must:-
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Have previous grounds maintenance experience in grass cutting and hedge maintenance
- Be physically fit
- Have a good attention to detail
- Be a team player
- Be flexible in your approach
- Have excellent communication skills
PA1 & PA6 Licences, chainsaw certification would be desirable, but not necessary.
You must have experience in using the following petrol driven equipment:
- Back Pack Leaf Blower
- Long Arm Hedge Cutter
- Strimmer
- Hayter 56 Lawnmower or equivalent
The hours are Monday to Friday 6.30 am to 3.00 pm from our Mitcham Office. This may vary depending on the seasons.
You will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. Disclosure expense will be met by employer, but if you leave within 3 months this will have to be repaid.
