Depot: Alben Landscapes Ltd, Lowe Farm Cottage, Leyland Lane, PR26 8LB
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week (06:30 – 15:30)
Pay: £28,000 – £37,000 per year (depending on experience) + overtime opportunities

Alben Landscapes Ltd is a growing landscaping and grounds maintenance company delivering high-quality outdoor environments across commercial, residential, and new-build developments.

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Grounds Landscaper to join our expanding team. This is a varied outdoor role combining grounds maintenance and soft landscaping, ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in high standards, and works well within a professional team.

What You’ll Be DoingSoft Landscaping Duties

  • Ground preparation and levelling
  • Turf laying to a high professional standard
  • Planting trees, shrubs, hedging, and flower beds
  • Working from landscaping plans and specifications
  • Supporting seasonal planting and site improvements

Grounds Maintenance Duties

  • Grass cutting using pedestrian and ride-on mowers
  • Strimming and edging
  • Hedge cutting and shrub maintenance
  • Weed control and safe chemical application
  • Leaf clearance, litter picking, and seasonal maintenance tasks
  • Maintaining clean, tidy, and safe outdoor spaces year-round

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, or horticulture
  • Good understanding of turfing, planting, and general garden maintenance
  • Ability to operate landscaping tools and machinery safely
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • CSCS Card essential
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
  • PA1 / PA6 spraying certificates desirable
  • NVQ Level 2 Horticulture desirable but not essential
