Hedge Cutting jobs in Clipstone

We are looking for a self-employed maintenance person to undertake general maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a range of duties, including but not limited to general DIY, grass cutting, painting, and fault finding. The successful candidate will work independently to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

You will be expected to be versatile, with multiple duties and responsibilities, including:

• Plumbing: To resolve basic problems such as installing new taps, sinks and toilets, and repairing leaks.
• Electrical: replacing bulbs, rewiring sockets, installing alarms, doorbells, security cameras and thermostats.
• Decorating: painting walls and ceilings, touching up skirting boards and door frames, sanding floors and other wooden surfaces.
• Repairs and Maintenance: Install cabinets, doors, countertops, and flooring, including tiles, carpets, or other hardwood and laminate aspects, including damaged window frames.
• Gardening: mowing lawns, trimming hedges, bushes and trees, weeding, watering flower beds and repairing border walls and fences.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards while carrying out maintenance activities.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance tasks and any materials used.
• Communicate any maintenance requirements or issues to the appropriate personnel.

Requirements:

• Own Vehicle/Van
• Drivers licence
• Qualifications
• Public Liability Insurance

MUST HAVES:

• Multiskilled with a wide variety of household jobs, specifically:
• Minor plumbing works (does not have to be gas safe)
• High standard Painting & plastering
• Damp works
• Fencing/Basic gardening

Working hours: Monday through Friday, including weekend work.

Payment: Invoiced and paid monthly

Start Date: Immediate.

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.25 per week

Education:

• GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

• Plumbing: 1 year (preferred)
• Hand tools: 1 year (required)
• Electrical: 1 year (required)
• Maintenance: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (required)
