Full job description

Due to expediential growth in our business, we have an exciting opportunity and are recruiting for a Mobile Gardener. You will join an existing team based in Upminster, RM14 3QH, working across multiple sites throughout Central London.

Job Purpose:

As a Gardener, you will be working ‘hands-on’ with a small team to provide a top-class horticultural environment for our clients. You must be able to demonstrate an interest in horticulture, together with some horticultural skills and experience – ideally from within a similar environment. Duties include Watering bedding displays, troughs and window boxes, grass and hedge cutting, shrub bed maintenance, weed control of hard surfaces and litter-picking.

Skills and experiences:

  • Passionate about the environment with a keen eye for detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to confidently work independently
  • NVQ or Diploma Level 2 Horticulture / Landscaping (or equivalent) desirable but not essential
  • Spraying Certificates – NPTC PA1 & PA6 preferable, but not essential
  • Experience in Corporate and/or Local Authority Landscaping/Grounds Maintenance preferred, but not essential
  • Experience with using petrol two-stroke grass/hedge cutting equipment is preferable, but not essential
  • Experience with ride on grass-cutting equipment is preferable but not essential
  • Flexible in approach to work and willing to work outside in all weathers
  • A full, clean UK driving licence is essential.
