WE’RE HIRING – QUALIFIED ARBORIST OR TRAINEE TREE SURGEON

Red Squirrel Tree Care & Hedge Maintenance

We are looking for a hardworking, reliable and motivated individual to join our growing tree surgery business, working across South Yorkshire and the surrounding areas.

We are happy to consider both experienced, qualified arborists and trainees who are keen to learn and develop a career in the industry.

Job Role:

  • Tree climbing, pruning, dismantling and felling.
  • Ground operations, including chainsaw work, rigging and woodchipping.
  • Hedge cutting and general tree maintenance.
  • Assisting with the safe and efficient running of daily operations.
  • Maintaining equipment and keeping work sites clean and tidy.
  • Working as part of a professional team.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
  • Reliability, punctuality and willingness to work hard.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • A genuine interest in arboriculture.
  • Good awareness of health and safety.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
  • Relevant NPTC qualifications desirable but not essential for trainees.
  • Previous experience in tree surgery would be an advantage.
