About Us

Priory Park is a family run, well-established holiday home and residential park set in beautiful surroundings on the Suffolk coast. We take great pride in the appearance and upkeep of our site and we are looking for a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our small, close knit team.

The Role

This is a full-time, permanent position for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining a high standard across a varied and interesting site. You will be joining a small, friendly team and playing a key part in keeping Priory Park looking its very best throughout the year. No two days are the same and the role covers a wide range of estate maintenance tasks, so a practical, can-do attitude is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Hedge cutting, strimming and general estate upkeep to a high standard
  • Seasonal planting, weeding, pruning and care of borders and planted areas
  • Leaf clearance and general presentation of green spaces and communal areas
  • Operating and maintaining grounds machinery and equipment safely and responsibly
  • Assisting with general estate maintenance tasks including fencing, painting and timber work
  • Supporting the wider team with any other site tasks as required

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven experience in grounds maintenance or estate management
  • A hardworking, reliable attitude with a strong eye for detail
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions throughout the year
  • A full UK driving licence is essential
  • PA1/PA6 spraying certificates and chainsaw experience are highly desirable
  • Any relevant horticultural qualifications are welcome but not essential
  • Someone who is settled locally and looking for a long term position
