Hedge Cutting jobs in Minehead

Vale Gardeners is looking for an experienced and reliable Grounds Maintenance Operative capable of working independently and completing a one-person maintenance round to a high standard.

The work includes lawn mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, pruning, weed control, bed maintenance, garden tidy-ups, green-waste clearance and general grounds maintenance.

You need to be comfortable using commercial gardening machinery, physically capable of outdoor work and able to work efficiently without someone constantly supervising you.

Requirements: relevant gardening or grounds-maintenance experience, good knowledge of mowers, strimmers and hedge cutters, reliable transport to work, good timekeeping, professional behaviour around customers and the ability to work independently.

The starting package is £13.50 per hour plus the Vale Gardeners performance bonus scheme.

We’re looking for someone who can prove themselves through the quality and reliability of their work. Further opportunities and additional responsibilities may be offered at the company’s discretion once you’ve demonstrated what you can do.

That keeps it clean: they’re employed for the job they’re being paid to do. Anything extra from Vale is earned later, not promised upfront.
