The Drewton Estate, South Cave, East Riding of Yorkshire

The Drewton Estate is looking for an enthusiastic and capable Estate Maintenance and Groundsman to join our maintenance, landscaping and property development team.

This is a hands-on role working across our beautiful rural estate, including landscaped gardens, rental properties, The Manor Rooms weddings and events venue, holiday cottages, farm shop and restaurant. No two days are the same, making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied and rewarding role.

We are offering a 32-hour position worked over 4 days per week, providing an excellent work-life balance while remaining a permanent, long-term role.

Responsibilities

Duties will include:

· Grass cutting and lawn maintenance

· Hedge cutting, pruning and seasonal upkeep

· Upkeep and presentation of the Estate properties and Holiday Cottages

· Maintenance and improvement projects around the Estate, Farm Shop, and Weddings & Events Venue

· General maintenance and servicing for vehicles and hand tools

What We're Looking For

· Experience with hand tools such as hedge cutter, chainsaw and strimmer

· Able to operate ride on lawnmowers, telehandler and tractor

· A positive, hard-working attitude

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team

· Flexibility to meet the needs of the Estate throughout the seasons

· Full clean driving licence and own transport preferred

Salary & Benefits

· Full-time position – 32 hours per week over 4 days

Experience: Groundskeeping experience preferred.
