Porters Tree Care Gardener & Groundsperson. Full-Time or Part-Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Gardener/Groundsperson to join our growing team. We are a multi-disciplinary outdoor services company specialising in horticulture, arboriculture and landscaping, and we are continuing to expand across all three areas.

We are primarily looking for someone to join us on a full-time basis; however, we are very open to part-time applicants and flexible working arrangements for the right person. Whether you're looking for a long-term full-time position, a few regular days each week, or greater flexibility around other commitments, we'd be happy to have a conversation.

The Role

This is a varied, hands-on position maintaining private gardens, estates and landscaped grounds, with opportunities to work alongside our horticulture, landscaping and arboriculture teams.

  • General garden and grounds maintenance
  • Lawn mowing, edging, strimming and lawn care
  • Hedge cutting, pruning and border maintenance
  • Planting and seasonal garden work
  • Leaf clearance and general site presentation
  • Using and maintaining professional garden machinery
  • Assisting with soft landscaping and planting projects
  • Supporting our landscaping and arboriculture teams when required

About You

We are looking for someone who is hard-working, dependable and genuinely interested in horticulture and the outdoors. Experienced candidates are very welcome, but we're equally interested in people with the right attitude, work ethic and willingness to learn.

A full UK driving licence is required. Relevant horticultural qualifications, machinery tickets, PA1/PA6 or similar certifications would be advantageous but are not essential.

Pay rates competitive (from £120 a day, depending on experience)
