Acorn Environment Services Ltd are looking to employ a hard working, trustworthy multi role operative to join our successful team.

As a multi role operative here at Acorn Environment Services Ltd, no two days are the same. As part of your role you will be cleaning and clearing out properties for various housing associations and private organisations throughout Yorkshire/ the Northwest.

After successful completion of training, as a multi role operative, you will be required to carry out bio cleaning, needle/sharps removal, property cleans.

After successful completion of training, as a multi role operative, you will be carrying out gardening, strimming, mowing, weeding, hedge cutting and general gardening works.

After successful completion of training, as a multi role operative, you will use hand and power tools, specialist graffiti cleaning equipment and cleaning materials.

This is a physically demanding role which will involve you working for our in-house team undertaking the removal of general waste and heavy domestic items from communal spaces, empty and occupied properties.

This roles requires the multi role operative to work internally and externally in all weathers

The multi role operative must show pride and good standards within their work ethic with a positive can do attitude as work can be at a fast pace.

The multi role operative must be comfortable working with the public and be willing to provide excellent levels of service to our clients and services users.

The multi role operative must be comfortable to transport and dispose of waste and appliances appropriately, driving a van or tipper truck up to 3.5 tonnes. A company vehicle and fuel card can be provided.

We require the following if you wish to apply:

• Cleaning experience, industrial, commercial and/or household
• Good knowledge of health and safety, COSHH and asbestos
• Completed training in working safely and manual handling
• Experience using specialist cleaning/ garden machinery and equipment
• Proficient IT knowledge and comfortable using mobile devices
• The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
• Available to be on our on call rota which gives opportunity for extra income.
• Full, driving licence with no more than 6 points (to 3.5 tonnes)
• Based in the Yorkshire area
