Hedge Cutting jobs in Purton

Glebe Contractors is looking for an experienced, self-motivated estate maintenance and machine operator operative. We are open to the option of full-time employment or self-employed workers.

We are based in Newent, Gloucestershire, and work in a wide radius.

Work will include, but is not limited to:

• Side-arm hedge cutting and other machine driving. This may include using tractors, mulchers, excavators and more.
• Chainsaw work and wood chipping,
• Fencing, creating boardwalks and other structures
• Estate maintenance
• Additional works when required. This could be anything from creating natural habitats, tracks, footpaths or conservation services.

Responsibilities:

• Completing all work on time to a high standard.
• Face-to-face contact with clients as required.
• Care and maintenance of vehicles, plant and equipment used,
• Working as a team and individual, filling in worksheets and reporting to management,
• Care of duty for those you work with.

Required qualifications:

• Driving license (B&E)
• CS30 & CS31 chainsaw
• Use of woodchipper
• First Aid + F
• PA1 and PA6 spraying certificates
• Any tractor & side-arm, excavator, mulcher and other machinery qualifications
• Training can be given where required.

Candidate requirements:

• Experienced in machine driving, fencing and estate maintenance,

Pay will be £35,100 per annum (£15.00 per hour) plus overtime, depending on experience and knowledge. We work a standard 45 hour week.
