Job Description:
MR Landscape and Garden Maintenance Ltd is a reputable company based in Harrogate, specialising in the maintenance of residential and commercial property gardens. We are seeking a hardworking individual who enjoys outdoor work and possesses a keen interest in gardening to join our team. Our company takes pride in maintaining outdoor spaces to ensure our clients can fully enjoy their gardens. This is a full-time position with immediate availability, offering competitive rates of pay (to be discussed at the interview stage) and provision of a branded uniform.

Responsibilities:

• Cutting and maintaining lawns to various finishes using different machines.
• Trimming and maintaining hedges.
• Maintenance of shrub and herbaceous borders including weeding, planting, and pruning.
• Leaf-clearing and litter-picking.
• Assistance with hard and soft landscaping projects.
• Following annual maintenance plans.
• Working hours are from 8 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays, with hours varying based on daylight, averaging 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Alignment with the company's values.
• Possession of a clean/full UK driving license.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Previous gardening experience.
• Awareness of health and safety protocols.
• Friendly demeanour towards clients with the ability to handle tasks responsibly.
• Proficiency in using a wide range of horticultural machinery and powered hand tools.
• Creativity and attention to detail.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform hard manual labour.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions and seasons.

Desirable:

• Spray license (PA1 AND PA6).
• Knowledge of plant identification and maintenance schedules.
• Understanding of lawn care techniques.
• 2 years of previous gardening experience.
• Horticultural qualification.

Pay: Up to £28,000.00 per year
