Full job description

We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Gardener to join our team at Shorefield Country Park and help maintain the park grounds to an exceptional standard. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in creating and maintaining attractive outdoor spaces and enjoys working in all seasons.

As our Gardener, you will play a key role in ensuring the grounds remain safe, well-maintained and welcoming for visitors, customers and colleagues.

42.5 hours per week, including bank holidays. You may be required to work weekends.

Key responsibilities:

· Grass cutting

· Grass strimming

· Hedge cutting and pruning

· Planting flowers, shrubs and trees

· Plant and garden maintenance

· Tree care and maintenance

· Leaf clearance, road sweeping and litter picking

· General grounds maintenance and labouring duties

· Carrying out Health and safety and hygiene checks and completing associated records

· Following company environmental policies and best practices

About you:

· Have horticultural, gardening of grounds maintenance experience

· Can work independently and use their initiative

· Enjoy working as part of a team

· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Reliable, honest and hardworking

· Can manage your workload effectively and work under pressure when required

· Take pride in delivering high standards of work

· Hold a full UK driving licence
