Job Overview
We are looking for a Class One Container Driver for ongoing work. £20 PH ltd , Immediate start available.

Monday to Friday and Monday to Saturday available.

Duties

  • Operate Container lorries safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload goods, ensuring proper securing of cargo to prevent damage during transit.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and records, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
  • Follow company policies regarding safety protocols and best practices for transportation.
  • Assist with route planning to optimise delivery times while considering road conditions and regulations.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is essential.
  • Valid commercial driving licence (CPC) with a clean driving record is required.
  • Experience with container lorries is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in transportation.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating excellent time management skills.
