Job Summary

We are seeking a cheerful and engaging individual to embody the festive spirit as Santa Claus. The successful candidate will bring joy and magic to children and families during the holiday season, creating memorable experiences through storytelling, photos, and festive interactions. This role offers an opportunity to spread holiday cheer while engaging with the community in a fun and meaningful way.

Duties

• Welcome children and families with warmth and friendliness, embodying the joyful spirit of Santa Claus
• Pose for photographs with visitors, ensuring a joyful and memorable experience
• Listen to children’s Christmas wishes and respond with kindness and enthusiasm
• Lead festive activities, storytelling sessions, or sing-alongs to entertain guests
• Maintain a festive appearance, including costume upkeep and personal grooming appropriate for the role
• Assist in organising holiday events or parades as required
• Engage with visitors in a manner that promotes holiday cheer and positive community relations

Skills

• Must hold a valid DBS certificate appropriate to the role, with the required DBS checks completed before starting
• Excellent public speaking skills to confidently communicate with children and adults alike
• Ability to teach or demonstrate festive songs or activities, enhancing visitor engagement
• Strong communication skills to connect warmly with diverse audiences of all ages
• Outgoing personality with a genuine love for spreading holiday joy and magic
• Ability to remain patient, approachable, and professional in all interactions during busy periods

Pay: Up to £20.00 per hour
