Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical systems, with experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring and equipment across various settings. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals committed to safety, precision, and quality workmanship. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring all electrical installations comply with relevant standards and regulations, contributing to the smooth operation of our facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety standards and technical specifications.
  • Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and perform necessary troubleshooting to resolve electrical faults efficiently.
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete tasks accurately.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute electrical work precisely.
  • Ensure all work complies with current electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate installation or maintenance activities.
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
  • Assist in the planning of electrical layouts for new installations or renovations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Electrician with a strong understanding of electrical systems and safety practices.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
  • Demonstrable electrical experience with the ability to read technical diagrams and schematics accurately.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical installation or maintenance (e.g., City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3).
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Valid UK driving licence is preferred but not essential.

Pay: £260.00-£400.00 per day
