The Role

Due to the expansion of our Marketing function, we are looking for a creative Marketing Assistant & Administrator to join our marketing team. This is a new role and therefore one that you can help shape going forward. It will be a varied and hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of creativity, organisation, and administration.

Every day will be different: from supporting the planning and delivery of events, to reacting to marketing requests from across the Group. You’ll play an active role in making sure everything runs smoothly and is delivered to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, organisation, and delivery of marketing events, trade shows, and exhibitions, co-ordinating event logistics, materials, and supplier relationships.
  • Supporting the preparation, coordination, and distribution of marketing materials and communications.
  • Liaising with internal departments, external agencies and suppliers to understand, plan and deliver marketing requirements.
  • Supporting the creation and proofreading of marketing materials, including brochures and newsletters.
  • Supporting the Head of Marketing in the delivery of the Group’s Marketing strategy.
  • Monitor and contribute to the Group’s social media activities to ensure maximum campaign effectiveness.
  • Assist will all day-to-day marketing operations for the Group.

Other duties:

· Maintain filing systems and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

· Process purchase orders, invoices, and assist with budget tracking.

· Provide general administrative support to the Sales teams across the Group, as required.

· Support sales teams and customers with merchandise and marketing materials.

· Provide general administrative support to other departments as required.

Qualifications and experience

Essential

  • A marketing-based qualification
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with great attention to detail.
  • Confident working on multiple projects simultaneously, planning and meeting all deadlines.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Professional approach and ability to work with discretion and confidentiality.

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a marketing, communications, or similar support role.
  • Competent in website content management systems and website administration such as Google Analytics, HotJar etc.
  • Interest in sustainability, manufacturing, or construction sectors.
